THE GRANDSTAND

The air-conditioned Grandstand gives Festival-goers a chance to take an intimate look at the vibrant culture, cuisine and art of Louisiana. This year's programs include Special Exhibits spanning both weekends on the 1st Floor, West Wing, and four intriguing stages: Zatarain's Food Heritage Stage (1st Floor East), Zatarain's Cajun Cabin (on the apron outside Food Heritage), the Allison Miner Music Heritage Stage (2nd floor East), and the Lagniappe Stage (in the outdoor paddock).

This year's Special Exhibits in the Grandstand include: Smoke, Sound and Light – A Celebration of the Life of Herman Leonard from A Gallery for Fine Photography, and three presentations in conjunction with the Festival’s focus on Haiti: “Congo Square New Orleans: African Roots in America” from the New Orleans African American Museum, “Haiti: The Soul, The Spirit, The Art” from the Oh-Là-Là! Haitian Art Gallery, and “Dear Haiti, From New Orleans with Love” from Dear New Orleans.
