Default Favorite New Orleans Lead Guitar players

They get less love, but I'd have to rank my top 10 as:

Jimmy Robinson (twangorama, woodenhead, mulebone)
Tommy Malone (subdudes, etc)
Sonny Landreth
Renard Poche (Dr. John, etc
Dave Easley
Alex McMurray (tin men, 007, royal fingerbowl)
John Mooney,
Eric Krasno (not really New Orleans, but see him at fest every year)
Kenny Neal
Phil DeGruy

I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch, but that's the best I can do off the top of my head.

I've never been a fan of Brian, Leo or even June Y -- for my taste, they play too many notes.

Default Mike Doussan

West Bank Mike & the fisher project are quickly becoming one of New Orleans' hottest funky blues bands. Fronted by "West Bank" Mike Doussan (guitar, vocals), the fisher project (Scott Jackson, bass: Charles Brewer, drums) just took First place in the Sonny Boy Blues Society's Battle Of The Bands. This Achievement merits West Bank Mike & the fisher project a slot on the main stage of the Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival(formally King Biscuit Blues Fest) in October 2006. The band will also represent the society at the 2007 IBC in Memphis.

Another great Bluesman out of New Orleans: Mike Doussan

Jordan, I was going to list June Y but can't spell his last name. Another great slinger out of New Orleans. Can anyone help us on the spelling. Now Sonny is out of Beaux Bridge but he is one of the ones on top of my list for favorite on planet earth.
