Cool Bonnie, Bonnie & Booker

Born November the 8th were Gerald Alston of the Manhattans, 1942, Bonnie Bramlett, 1944, and Bonnie Raitt, 1944. Happy Birthday to all. Since Minnie Riperton came up in the One-hit Wonders, this would have been her birthday as well. This also marks the day that James Booker died in 1983. I never got to see him. Another favorite who died on this date was Ivory Joe Hunter who died here in Memphis in 1974.

Interesting side note, Lennon's movie was originally called "Oh, What a Lovely War?" The name was changed because it was deemed in "bad taste."
