It was a great afternoon in the backyard. The weather is absolutely
perfect; mid-70s, light breeze, low humidity and bright sun. The
tent/tables/chairs/par can lights/linens/plates/cutlery/and drapes
were delivered and it looks great . The portolet was delivered. People
stopped by all afternoon; Shaw & Heidi, Lis' aunt & cousin, LisaRI and
Joe, Barry & Nancy came to bake, Frank brought a table and Winn came by
to offer his services and all 9 of our house guests were all making
merry in the backyard. The girls decorated a box for cards & a bowl for
buttons, then used some tie dye material I had bought to run a swag down
the fence. Susan brought NC BBQ and we ate that on French bread for
lunch and Vic made 2 delicious apple pies but decided we should eat one
today for lunch & it was a lovely picnic. David bought 20 or so pots
of flowers that Vic arranged in the old flower bed by the tent & that
looks pretty! Vic is taking pics of the project; backyard before, during
construction etc. I sure sure sure wish the rest of ya'll here with
us. We miss you!

Luv Dancin and i arrive by Tahoe friday evening. detouring thru Abita Springs to store my camping gear for the weekend, where we will have an adult beverage with friends before heading to the Prytania Park Hotel.
friday night music plans are still in the making, but we will be following the rest of the STL krewe on friday night. there are folks in town who are not attending the wedding or festgiving (they were asked).

Hi ya'll, Stynger and I arrived this afternoon. My daughter Melissa is with us also. Checked out the wedding location and set up for Mark to record. So exciting. Best of all things good to Lisa and Ed on this very special day.
