It's on VH1 soul, not regular VH1. But the 8:00 central/9:00 Eastern episode was Memphis, not New Orleans (the NOLA episode was 1/2 hour earlier--we saw the last 30 seconds)
But it looks as if it is repeated early tomorrow morning. The VH1 Soul website says 4:30 am, my TV says 5:00 am. So we're recording both to be sure.
(But we watched the first 10 minutes of the Memphis episode and looks pretty cool, with historical music sites and food. So we're recording Philly and Chicago, too)

I tried too....I think I got the same show as Belle...not Big Sam :(
Never listen to a musician as to the logistics of his gig. ;)

Though this one probably not Sammie's fault I totally agree Jenn...
THings I have learned a musician typically knows :)
what time first bus/plane?
what time soundcheck? not the gig time as they find that out at soundcheck
and the most important question...
What time is the nap today?
Essential information we as an audience need to know like where is the venue? no not directions but the TOWN, what time are doors?, what time is the set starting? etc are usually not in their repertoire...
I'd like to be able to check this out, as I was there and it was a killer show! I wonder if it can be viewed online??
