in Houston. I am missing Mardi Gras for the 1st time in my 36 years of living! But I have the DR. to cure all of the aches and paines. My mom asked me not to come home for Mardi Gras b/c the crime is to bad so we did MG in Galveston, TX this weekend and it was not as bad as I was expecting. It will be real hard on Tuesday, when I have to go to work?!?!?!?!? Are you with me people?!?!?! (Fred Leblanc.. Cowboy Mouth)

How many dazzz til Jazz Fest?!?!?! 70 or so....

Happy Mardi Gras!!

Let us know how the show is. We get the Dr. here in Dallas on Mardi Gras night, but there are lots of other great choices to pick from too.

The Dr. was ok last. It was not his best performance. He looked really tired.

I heard from a pretty good source that the Doctor is pretty ill with kidney disease. I'd see him when I could...

I can not envision New Orleans without Dr. John. He seems to be the maestro that holds the orchestra of culture that is New Orleans, together.

he should be recovering as i type, since earlier tonight i bought tickets for his March 31st gig at the Alton Casino (north of stl, on the illinois side of the mighty mississippi). its been a while since i've seen him other than the big stage at fest. its different in an initmate setting, and the tix were only $20. but i bet its a short show - so you'll go gamble.

I skipped him tonight. $35 and a 40 minute drive, vs. free and a 5 minute drive for some kick ass local blues.

I'll see the Good Doctor in April or May in New Orleans.
