I'm thinking Turner.

If she has, I don't remember.
And that goes for Turner or Fey.
Or Louise.

I have a friend Tina from high school, but I don't think she goes to Jazz Fest. I'll be sure to ask, though.

How about Elvis Costello..he could bring most of his collaboration folks and his beautiful wife too. All would be right with the world in my book.
Searching swags site,,appears he has not performed at Fest

There's something wrong with the search on my site.
I think it started when I went to the new DHTML menus; it makes sense that Google can't crawl thru those, sicne they're synamically generated, but I do have a site map that it should be able to reach and crawl thru.
And, of course, even when the search was working, it could not show results prior to 1994, since those cubes are all just image files, not text.

How come nobody remembers him playing with Mr. Toussaint in 2006? Or was that Declan Macmanus? I get them confused.

I am confused...Toussaint and Macmanus or Costello and Macmanus? Nevermind it is not important but I have gathered it is time again for Elvis to return!!!

I was just gonna say the same thing, except that I believe the Allen Touissant-Elvis Costello set was 2007 on Gentilly. Diana Krall also played there last year.
As for Tina, my vote is for Yothers. It's been a long time since we've heard from her and her band Jaded.

The sun was definitely shining for Diana Krall, and I'm pretty sure it was sunny for Allen Toussaint and Elvis Costello, too.
The peak of the storm came during Midnite Disturbers, but I'm pretty sure there were some clear moments throughout the day after that.

It was clear after Midnight Disturbers and definitely totally sunny for Allen Toussaint and Elvis Costello at Gentilly, which was not abbrieviated at all that I recall. I believe Davell Crawford played Gentilly immediately before them and that it has cleared by the end of his set.

The gentilly EC/AT show was muddy but the rain had stopped by then. he played about 8 songs with AT and his horn section then played a long set of his own material. great show- i got a place right up front for that one.
