This is a good sign if a WWOZ DJ introduced a new release by Threadhead Records. The Nightcrawlers are a awesome band and as they get bigger so will Threadhead Records. I think everyday I was at Fest a Threadhead musician did a shoot out to the crowds for the Threadheads. All this I feel is real good for the Threadhead.Org. Nothing is better in advertisement then the word of mouth.

Laura and I were eating at Brigtsen's last night and in the background on the speakers they played the entire CD Stew Called New Orleans. I even saw one of Rosie's beautiful glass vases at the entrance!

Ate at GW Fins this evening with my daughter. Wow, excellent!. I've never seen so many elegant ways to prepare fish on a menu. Entree's are in the 25-30 dollar range, but very good, and excellent service.
Best. Entree. Ever.
We need to save this thread for when the inevitable "where should we go for a nice meal out during Jazz Fest" question pops up on the bored next spring...

I love the crawfish hushpuppies served there. Also the yellow fin is delish.
Note to self and anyone else...next time in New Orleans eat here again.

Or maybe another forum for food/restaurants - since we have a lot of different threads on recipes, cookbooks, NOLA food, fest food, restaurants, etc...

The M-F slot from 11-2 (New Orleans Music Show) is a GREAT source of TH shoutouts. "Don't Smoke Around Susie" is playing right now. I'll see if THR gets a shoutout.
