Coming in Saturday morning to see Kings of Leon that night....I wanna be right in front...What time should I be at the gates and is there usually a big wait to get in?? What should I expect?? Thanks in advance.

If you don't have a Grand Marshall Pass, you'll want to get there early. There will likely be a large number of folks waiting to get in when they open the gates a little before 11. Not everyone will be rushing in to get the best spot, though. (There's lots of stages & lots of spots.) If you're determined to do that, get there as early before 11 as you want and go for it.

I'm not a newbie and should know this but can you pay for your fest tix at the gate with a CC/Debit card or is it all cash at the gate?

I am pretty sure you buy one when you get there but it may be quicker to buy it online here at this website and have it at will call, make sure you know what gate is willcall. It may be easier to buy it there.

It took me about 30 seconds to buy mine at the ATM machine thing at the gate. They have a whole row of them and no line at all. Credit/debit cards accepted and I'm pretty sure there were no extra fees.

Sunday the opened the gates at 10:40, sat it was about 10:55 and Fri it was right at 11:00. So you just may want to enter at a gate closest to the stage that you want to plop down at but really I didn't see any stage really get crowded untill after 1 the first weekend (ACURA FOR DMB) and I was all over the place all three days shooting pics.
