Hi - I'm just looking for some friendly tips. We're coming for Thursday only; our first venture to this fest. Where should we go for the night party?

Thanks!

Cool; i was thinking something "classic" is what i want; or to just get lucky where a bunch of musicians show up and just jam.

Such a good one...but be prepared to sweat! It gets packed in there during Jazzfest.

Soul Rebels Brass Band Thursday night Party @ Le Bon Temps Roule is always an awesome option. It gets crazy in there!

All depends on your taste in music, right?
I'm going to Legends of Zydeco, even tho some of the bands aren't dancers favorites
So many options, hard to go wrong, no matter what you pick

Yes, tons of great music. We too went to Marcia Ball last year. One heck of a show!! I personally don't care for the HOB but worth it to see her. You can't go wrong at any venue!
