headed with about a 1/2 dozen other fools from baltimore on our 1st trip to jazzfest. Curious to know if anybody else is staying at the embassy suites on julia street near the convention center.
If anybody else has stayed there, thoughts?
Can't help ya there but nice to see more locals making the trek. When are you heading out. A few of us are on the early SW flight out of BWI on Thursday morning.

couple of us leavin tom afternoon, others coming in on thurs. some @ 12pm, some @ around 6pm. I know of a handful of other baltimore yokals who will be in town also. some @ the ritz.

I like Embassy Suites. The breakfast buffet and complimentary drinks in the evening are very nice. The hotel is in a good location in the central business district. The walk to the French Quarter is not bad if you like walking, can be a little much if you are not much of a walker, but overall a good hotel.
