I've been having trouble getting the feed. Had it briefly, and it was between sets, so now I am torn between trying to get it again or listening to Piano Night on 'OZ. Decisions, decisions, just like at the Fairgrounds. And to quote my friend Ace, who first brought me to Fest, "you can only be two places at once".

Actually, piano night hasn't started yet - of course, it is New Orleans time, so not sure how close to 7:00 it will be. I got back into the Tipitina webcast, but it's still the set break. I don't know who played the 1st set, but hoping to catch some of Galactic. Not sure in what order the lineup will be appearing. The sound isn't coming thru very well, so hopefully when the next band starts it will get louder. Or I might just go back to 'OZ for piano night, if the Tip's doesn't get going soon.

I'm getting the feed now, but with very low sound - just the tunes between the sets. I can see the stage, but no one is playing. I was able to get all of the Rads, and Henry Butler & DDBB last night (however I didn't stay up for the Blind Boys of Alabama, as it was a "School" night, and had to get up early this A.M.)
If the sound isn't any better when the next band starts, I'm going to opt for Piano Night - at least I'll be able to hear it.

Thanks for posting the pix and schedule - I'm afraid to leave the feed to go to Piano Night, as I might not be able to get back into the Tip's again to see Galactic. Cool that the Houseman will be with them, as well as Zigaboo.

Perfect---I have both audio and video; just need a celebratory beverage and I am ready to start packing for tomorrow!!! I am having a glass of red wine, in my Italian Grandad's wine glass (he made his own vino). However, wishin' it was a Turbodog. Can no longer get Turbo up this far north - (Duluth, MN). Abita is available in the Twin Cities(Mpls/St.Paul area (which is about a 3 hr drive from here). Last year a friend drove to NOLA, and she brought a case of Turbodog back for us - yummy! Have a great trip - Happy Festin' !!! - and enjoy the subdudes (I was reading your other post about going to see them at Southport Hall). They played at the Minnesota Zoo (a great outdoor venue -small amphitheater) a couple of summers ago, and it was a great show. The power had gone out due to a storm that had just moved through, so they did the first few songs acoustic, until the power was up again, so it was fun to see them both unplugged and electric.
Sounds like Galactic is just getting ready to start now - I'm totally in love with Stanton Moore, and to hear the "Houseman' singing with them again will be great. I love all the new Galactic tunes with the different MC's, but I miss his great vocals.

WOW! It was a great set - Houseman dressed very dapper indeed! Even Zigaboo commented on his outfit. and those horns were blazing hot - loved Ben Ellman's sax frolicking with Shamar & Corey's horns.

I'm glad you caught that, Matthew - when I saw Leo and George together up on stage, I immediately thought of you. Way to short, but what a great set.
