ROCKS!!!

I was just thinking the same. If someone could bring me a fried softshell crab poboy, it would almost be like being there.

The gospel they have on now is pretty good as well.

But What Happened To SONNY?!?!?!? I was just wondering the same thing. I tuned in too late today, as they rebroadcast the Rebirth's set from yesterday. That was one hot set - I heard the part they did broadcast on Saturday, but it wasn't the full set. Guess I'll have to see if there will be a cd of the live performance. They were talking about Sonny's set before they started Roderick Paulin's set, but I didn't hear them say if it would be broadcast or not.

The Rebirth sounded great yesterday. I caught the first half of it so I could catch the second half of Pete Seeger. On Friday, jazzfestlive had the Rebirth set highlited on their board, but when I went back on Saturday afternoon it had been crossed out. You can buy the Paul Sanchez Rolling Road Show set from Lagniappe, which includes "Be A Threadhead"! You can also buy Pete Seeger's set from Acura and if the emotion that was evident in the crowd singing "This Land Is Your Land" at the end of the set, it is worth owning.

Lot's pf listening at home with the little one asleep on my chest and the rain coming down outside. Great sets by Terrance Blanchard and Sonny Landreth.
