I have a very early (6:20 AM) flight home on Tuesday 5/4, and am wondering about getting to the airport---- Does anyone know what time the Airport Shuttle (the one that picks you up at your hotel for about 15 bucks) starts running?

What about the bus?

Is a cab my only option?

Thanks, Matthew

Give them a call, I'll bet they run all hours. Or ask the shuttle agent when you arrive at MSY.

The city bus does not run early enough for you.

Thanks Mama, my mistake, I fly home on Tues 5/5......

And for anyone who cares, the Airport Shuttle runs until 2:00 am, then stops for an hour and a half, resuming at 3:30 am.

so you need to be at the airport around 5 am.
are you just going to party and then go (not so) straight there?

Yeah, there is a show at Chickie Wah Wah with a band called Jolly House (this group features a couple of guys from the Radiators and I think it will be the ideal way to spend my last few hours in New Orleans) so when it gets over, I will go grab my bag and try and talk myself into actually getting on the plane, as opposed to trying to change my flight to stay a bit longer.........

I cant believe I am already thinking about the end of my trip, when it has yet to begin.

Its time for a cold one!!!

you are just getting the plans settled so you can relax until then.
you'll have to leave, you'll be out of money.

Wow - those poor folks who have flights in the middle of the night. In more ways than one.

Money can buy you anything, just ask David Crosby and John Phillips!

I've caught the shuttle that early, it only takes about 15 minutes, there usually aren't that many stops in the early AM. I think you'll be fine as long as you get there by 5:30
