Is there more than one entrance to get into the jazzfest? If so, what is the closest entrance to the Acura stage? Thanks in advance. This will be my first jazz fest....coming in from Boston.

thanks for the map! so if I am looking at this right, there are 2 entrances labeled "Sauvage" and "Gentilly." Is this the only 2. I'm trying to avoid pushing a wheelchair too far.

That is really cool...love the map. But I gotta ask.......Where in God's creation is the Trout w/ lump crab dish you guys have been posting on the board. I do not see it listed....?

I have been salivating to that picture for months and I must have it!!!!!

I think the Gentilly entrance is closest to the parking lot.

That would be true...I didn't see the wheelchair part. It is a long push all the way from that gate to Acura :(

Hello,
I will be attending my first post-Katrina JazzFest this Friday. I work at the Dental School, and in the past I was able to walk from the school and enter the Fair Grounds via Trafalgar street (off DeSaix). I have always had a ticket beforehand but will have to get the ticket at the gate this year. I needed to know if that entrance is still available, and if so, can tickets be purchased there or do I have to go around to Gentilly Blvd to one of the other gates? Thanks.

Elizabeth

Too late to help this year, but for anyone wondering for next year - there is still an entrance at Trafalgar; but they do not sell tickets there.

There is also an entrance on Belfort Street and you can buy tickets there.
