lol Dude, you should write a book. That was a good read. I almost didn't believe it. Hope you come to one of Ms. Lena's meetups. I'd like to meet you and your wife. I think, lol.

The girl with the fairy wings sounded like Zydekitten. And the guy that bought you the large jambalaya sounds like Gumbo. :)

Great read! Now about the previous blog post and the Cheez-its conspiracy: be careful; one of the Threadheads works at the factory (oops, hollow tree) that makes said snack crackers. Keep pushing Better Cheddars on your blog and Tybeedawg may send the elves out to pay you a visit.

Good read man! Reminds me of how lucky I feel, in hindsight, to have gotten out of my twenties alive and in one piece.

It is amazin' that we make it out (and then we wish we could get right back in)... While I was readin' that fantastic story I quickly realized my soon to be 15 year old daughter (in three weeks) has yet to begin her real journey.... ....

Note to self: Stack many cases of Tanqueray,.. grow an Olive tree,.. and hold on...........

Hiatus time... have fun kids............

You need to see your MOM Saturday; the Ball is f'n incredible. The invites (technically not tickets) are for two people; I've heard that one way to get in is to hang out at the gate and find someone going in solo to share the other half. It would help to have a great costume. I could see a problem if you got your wife in, then couldn't find one for yourself.

You need to write a song about that trip.
I can see you now sitting up on stage on your wooden stool in a dark and smokey Nola joint.

"Long and Winding Road to New Orleans."

In the meantime you could twist the lyrics to Southern Culture on the Skids' 40 Miles from Vegas.
