The reason they moved Coachella a week earlier...

I always have wanted to go to Coachella, ever since it started a few years ago. But, it always started the same weekend as Jazz Fest. Well not this year, so I'll be able to go to both (Coachella April 17th thru 19th then Jazz Fest April 24th- May 3rd). Everyone kept sayin' they moved it a week earlier for cooler weather, but they moved it for Jazz Fest. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/soundboard/coachella_2009/

One week won't make a difference in the weather...it's hot, dry and dusty..period. Take lots of bandana's to wet down, and eye drops for the sand...and SPF 400!

I was looking at that festival, and saw that they don't allow you to bring your own alcohol to the campground, you have to buy cocktails from a bar there. That would get expensive! But it does look like a lot of fun :)

You and Jeff make your way down here, you KNOW that Babes has someplace to hang out while you do your 'thang'. Seriously, the low desert is not a joking matter, you know Mike and I go there often. We take the heat very seriously, you guys are young tho and Coachella is a fun fest, some day if y'all want to go, just plan on flying into San Diego and leaving me the Babes (plural)...it's a plan..k?
