YIPPEEE!!
I've seen them several times out here on da Coast, also in Austin, Tx.
I've always wanted to see them in New Orleans...yippeee!!
Will be at Intercontinental at this point...looking for other peeps to share a taxi with out to the venue (never been out there). If there 's enough of us we can request one of those minivan taxi jobs...
Argghhh...the anticipation is killing me...i can't focus on work, i just want party...NOW...ok,ok...12 more sleeps!

I'm thinking there'll be plenty of us going out there...it's kinda off the beaten track which is why i thought taxi sharing would be a "cost effective" tact....Mr Fred is Fred...will be seein' ya's at North Shore on Weds fo sho! Mistah Steve....you are tall, I prolly will see ya's first...haha!

Joey, I will also be heading out to Southport on saturday night---- The subdudes are always a must see for me, and Southport is my favorite venue in all of New Orleans (at least during Fest, when Tips is always way too crowded and cluastrophobic). The staff at Southport are friendly and accomodating, the sound system is spot on, drinks are half the price of other venues, and best of all the room always has boogie space to spare!!!
There should be several of us heading out there (though I will be on my own for this Fest) and we could all plan on meeting up beforehand.......
OrleansNJ and her husband will be driving, and have been generous enough to offer me a ride; dont know how much room they will have but its possible you could talk with them about a lift.
If you want, I started a subdudes Southport thread a while back----several others there mentioned they were planning on coming as well.

It was a nice offer anyway!!!
Friday night is going to be spent with some dear old friends of mine, who I usually only get to see when I am in New Orleans. They are not kids anymore, so I cherish each chance I have to hang out with them........
