We are headed out this evening for supper at a Cajun restaurant in Ferndale Michigan and then to see Buckwheat Zydeco at a nearby club. :D

The horrible weather that was called for here hasn't arrived so far - keeping fingers crossed.

PERFECT GIFT!!!! The homemade stuff is always so thoughtful. If I had my choice of store bought roses or when my hubbie cuts some from the back yard and puts them in a vase, I'll take the cut ones. I know he was thinking of me when he did it.....even if they're stolen ;)

Mine will be with momma. We finally got a grip on her foot problem, she's torn her Achille's tendon. Put her in a cast yesterday, wheelchair and walker, and she's basically at home for a few weeks.
She's pissed and frustrated. And meaner than a cottonmouth right now. And in pain.
Tomorrow I'm gonna get work cleared away early and do everything she asks, all day and night.
I hope that includes a takeout from Outback (well, that's one of her faves...)
Watch some TV with her and maybe get her to sip some wine, she needs it...

I woke up to a dozen, long stem roses on the table. I then looked outside at the weather and had to make that decision to jump into the truck, put it in 4 wheel drive, and then buy my man some nice red wine, chocolates and a nice card.

He loved the chocolates but thought the booze was a teaser since he had to leave for work...... I guess I can always try the wine to see if it is up to his standards....:D

Weather is bad here, Tangled. We're about two hours north of HBG. In fact, we're two hours from Philly and NYC, too. We had a couple inches of sleet followed by about a foot of snow and everything is shut down. A mild inconvenience though compared hurricanes and tornados.

V-day was nice here...my hunni bought me a huge bouquet of tropical flowers that are absolutely gorgeous, a bottle of my fav red wine and then we dined on king crab, shrimp and mussels for din din. It was wondermous!
