This was the on the front page today...I saw the St. Aug Marching 100 this weekend at Alla. It was great to see them, and the crowd really appreciated them being there. Maybe there is some hope...

Great news - St. Aug was always a Mardis Gras highlight for me. Those kids can get down!

I don't think any unit in any parade got as much response from the crowd as the MAX band did last year. It was really a touching moment. I'll never forget the jubilant look on the faces of those kids who had fought their way back to keep that Carnival tradition alive.
