Since they don't have a website was wondering if anyone knew how to get tickets for their night shows?
Thanks - Liz
The Spleaf used to have a website...???
Oh well, this is where almost all of the night shows will be listed:
http://www.jazzfestgrids.com/
good question! You can call them at 504-866-9359
Good source for list of shows during Fest is Jazzfestgrids.com (http://www.jazzfestgrids.com)
or http://www.jambase.com/search.asp?venueID=4952

Their website, themapleleafbar.com, has been an on-again, off-again affair for years. This must be an off year. I guess they don't care that much about getting the word out early because the place is always packed during fest. I remember in 2005 that I tried to help Chris get the schedule straight after their April Offbeat ad mistakenly changed a number of shows that had already sold tickets. We never did get a response or get the listing right until fest had started, which tells you a lot. We'll see what the March Offbeat ad lists.

oops, sorry Liz...I guess the answer is we really aren't sure how to get the tix but hopefully as it gets closer, we'll have more info. If we make it to the Maple Leaf during Mardi Gras, I'll ask for ya okay?

The one time I was there, it started about 11:15. The place was flat empty at 10. Packed at 11.
