Will Jazz Fest Be Issuing New Parking Guidelines For 2009? Will the "Major Construction" prohibit parking for the early birds again this year?

yes - same parking problems meaning no onsite parking except for those who purchased parking with their vip ticket orders. Jazz Fest Express info and RTA info has been posted here in the forum

Thanks for the confirmation Festy Dave. It would be helpful if we were able to get a definative answer to Fred's question.

If we know now that there will definately not be anymore on-site parking for Jazz Fest in the future we can make plans for Jazz Fest 2010. I would begin to save the $1200 - $1500 needed for VIP access next year.

I would have done VIP this year, but I just couldn't pull it off on such short notice.

I'm not sure this is a question that Festy Dave can really answer - seems like it might be better directed at the Fairgrounds folks who would have a construction time table and all that stuff.... no?
