Here ya go Ross...(and anyone else who didn't read the other thread!)

ROSETREFEST III
Where: Rosetree Blown Glass Studio and Gallery
446 Vallette St on da Point....
When: Wednesday April 29 (tween Wednesday)
Time: 12:00 - 5:00 (if it changes, I'll let ya know )
What: For those who have never been, and all of our newbies, this is an informal get-together for Threadheads to relax, eat, drink, and put faces with the names you see on da Bored.
We will be serving DiMartino's Famous Muffalettas (with and without olives), cold, cold Abita beer, mimosas, and whatever we can throw together.

We will also be demonstrating a little bit of glass artistry (or wizardry) and rumor has it that we will be making the bowl that Jerseygirl won in last year's auction.
Come on out and pass a good time with your Threadhead family! Everyone is welcome!

It is so much fun watching your bowl come together. Could be her own wedding gift too!!!

Jerseygirl you wont believe your eyes. To see his art in person is wonderful but to see him put it all together is a whole other matter. Have fun everyone who is going and if you are on the fence....just go!!!

VWGal and VWGirl will be representing! I am so pumped to see MY new willow vase, right Rosey??

Oh and when we disembark the ferry, we'll turn and wave bye-bye to Uncle Ross as he leaves NOLA. Why people think they can just visit for a few days after they've been doing the whole enchilada for years is really just beyond me!!!! ;)

(Oh well, at least we got you there for one weekend...and a daze or two....)

And Rosey, we both LOVE olives! VWGirl has told me she plans to conduct her very own New Orleans-muffelata-tasting odyssey, she loves olive salad that much. I can't believe that I will be able to have a conversation with family about the relative merits of Di Martino's versus Central Grocery versus.....

It took us a couple of months to get Ross to commit to coming to Fest at all. So no surprise that it'll take a little more time - but we have a few more weeks to convince him to stay for the whole enchilada.

It's not a rumor anymore and we will be creating this year's winners too!!
Come on out and pass a good time with your Threadhead family! Everyone is welcome!
(C'mon, when was the last time that you saw someone blow their own balls!) ;)

Yikes, I'm getting nervous about ball blowing with all those people watching.

And no real experience. To speak of.

Maybe there are films you could watch ahead of time? You know, to get an idea of how it's done?
