"William Roderick, 60, of Reedsport, has been charged with assault, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. He was being held in the county jail."

This just shows how deep one can can fall when they give in to nutria lust.
But to kill one is to know one, I suppose...
It's not legal to shoot nutria in Louisiana, unless you are Harry Lee, another lost soul down that long dark hole.

Sorry Bream, remember being in NOLA when Morten Andrerson got cut from the Saints, same time the Jefferson Parish SO Swat team got one night of open target practice on the Nutrias. They just had to get the loss out of their system.

LMAO, gris. That was most certainly illegal, no matta who did it. Discharging firearms on federal land (the river levees), and shooting nutria. They can only be trapped, and you need a license. Unless you're on Harrys' team ;)

Sorry Bream they were given permission for one day. The Humane Society had a day of trappping & then another org had a day. The nutria had gotten so bad they were really messing up the canals & had gotten to be a very bad problem.
