View Full Version : Free audio recording software (today only)
There's what looks like a pretty good piece of software up for grabs today.
"Advanced Audio Recorder records anything! You can record streaming audio, Mic input, Line-in input, Quick Time, Real Player, Flash, games, as well as CDs and DVDs. Recorded sound can be saved in wav-file format, mp3 format, OGG format or WMA format."
Only catch, it must be installed and registered today, 3/25, before midnight Pacific Time.

Oh, is it some kind of Canadian thingy?
Very cool, thanks Swag!
Be careful using this- wav files are huge in file size, and they grow quickly when recording. If you forget to stop recording you could fill your hard drive and crash your system!

Good point. There are settings to record mp3 instead of wav, and you can even lower the mp3 quality from the default 192kbps as as low as 32 or even 16, if you are really worried about space.
I wish someone would come out with a video recorder that would grab Flash 10 streams. Would like to rip the ABB shows to dvd. For my own use of course...

I tried some of those last week, but they didn't recognize the Flash 10 stream that ABB is using (just came out). They did recognize earlier Flash streams, maybe just have to wait for the next gen.
