Here is something that could be good. Among several multifaceted business leaders who have dedicated their expertise to The Network's vision is Richard Sands, CEO of Constellation Brands. Constellation Brands is the leading international producer and marketer of wine, spirits and imported beer.

ooh, that sounds hopeful!
Does everyone know that George Wein sold FPI, keeping only the rights to JazzFest?

Ohio, George Wein is still the CEO of FPI. He once said the biggest mistake he ever made was giving the rights away to JF. The non profit New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival Foundation, Inc has the rights to the Festival. Both FPI and AEG work for the Foundation to produce the festival. If you remember, AEG almost replaced FPI but somehow a partnership was worked out. (2005)Someone within the Foundation wanted Wein/Quint & Company out.
clarifying: the article I read said FPI was sold to Festival Network, becoming a division FN. Wein to be chairman of the division, with rights to produce NOJHF reserved.

This year wine, maybe next year spirits & imported beer.....
They already have spirits, if you count the So Co slushies.
