Do any locals have info on Fete Francaise this Saturday? Specifically the music schedule for the day? Also have yall seen anything on Mardi Gras Indian Super Sunday being this sunday due to last sunday's rain? I'm bringing my mom down for Saturday -Tuesday, her first trip since 1969 when my daddy shooed us off Bourbon because of those nude girls. Mom just finished One Dead in Attic which a friend gave her when she heard we were going south so she has her mind right for our favorite city. :)

A LESS SOGGY SUPER SUNDAY
Last weekend's Super Sunday festivities were postponed because of bad weather, so this Sunday is Super Sunday, the gathering of Mardi Gras Indian tribes for a show of solidarity and a parade. Activities start and finish at Taylor Park at Washington Avenue and S. Derbigny Street beginning at 11 a.m., and entertainment for the day that includes the Hot 8 Brass Band, the Stooges Brass Band, Big Al Carson, DJ Jubilee, DJ Captain Charles and much, much more.

Nope, Fred but I am getting so used to seeing her here on the weekends, especially anything funk related, that I forget that she doesn't live here :D
