Hey, Local Folks and Folks Who May Be Visiting New Orleans in April!
WWOZ is looking for some volunteers to help sell raffle tickets for their super cool, badass, red Vespa scooter that has been hand-signed by local musicians (such as Dr. John, Irma Thomas, etc.).
They need folks to help out for a 3-hour shift between Noon and 6:00 pm during the Brass Pass distribution at the Uptown Whole Foods on April 4-5. (I'll be out there myself one of those days).
Also possibly at their booth at the French Quarter Festival, April 17-19 (this is still being determined as of this writing).
