Hello Fellowheads-
Is there anyone out there that lives in the St. Louis, MO area and wants to share a drive to NOLA? My mom and a friend are driving Thursday a.m. second weekend to late Sunday/early Monday. They are looking for 1-2 people to share the driving. Please let me know if you are interested and I will put you in touch with them. Thanks

is he still around? i dont recall seeing him last year. nothing against the guy, but boy is he a distraction when some unsuspecting band lets him get on the stage.

i'm pretty sure he does not have a license, and i have never heard of him offering to pay for gas. (i assume share driving, also means share gas expense)

we can never manage to fit 4 people, lawn chairs, coolers, r@!n gear, hats and clothes into one car for jazzfest. either you all have a really big car, are really small people, or havent done this before.
its an easy drive for 2 people to make from STL. i've made it solo several times, not a problem. 10-12 hours depending upon your speed and the number/type of stops you like to make. figure 1500 miles round/trip (includes in town driving). if you get 20 mpg, it will cost 150 in gas.
if you're looking at driving overnight, its good to have a 3rd person. one asleep, 2 awake.
as of right now, my stl krewe (little smaller this year) is already settled on cars, drivers & riders. since we tend to stay outside of downtown NOLA, we need our cars. and then there's the whole too much stuff issue.

He's still around....he was extremely annoying at a John Boutte show at dba just a few weeks ago. Luckily Jada had forgotten to bring her flame thrower.
