What a beautiful gallery photog Zach Smith produced for both Snooks and Antoinette's second lines. Besides the obvious of missing my family, times like these are the ones that make me miss home more than anything. Although I'm grateful for some of my family and friends plus others here on the board for being there representing, I really wish I would have been able to be in that number to pay my respects and celebrate the lives of two true NOLA icons. With the effect that Miss Antoinette had on the city with her tireless work in the community and Snooks' ability to touch everyone's soul through his music, they are without a doubt, two people whose spirits will live in the city on New Orleans forever.

The more I stare at the picture of Irma wailing over Snooks, I just can't help but hear her voice jumping out of the photo. That is some powerful stuff right there.

I thought the Indian photo was in black and white until I looked closer. What a suit. I've never seen one with muted colors. I'd die a happy man knowing Irma, Shannon Powell, and Dr.White were gonna play at my funeral.

HA. Did anyone notice Seefood on his phone in the Snooks 2nd line pics? I knew we were back there somewhere. Of course Ken sticks out and he is on his phone! LOL
