This is a Brass band place right? We would like to check it out soon , I see it is close if anyone is staying in the Quarter.

I don't think I've been in Donna's since the storm. Yes, they were a brass band place, and they used to feed you as well as get you drunk. What is their situation now?

Just called 'em and got their Mardi Gras message, so I'm thinking they're taking the month off. Of course I could just walk by the place, but that would be too easy.....

Received an email from Donna's about a week ago saying there were closed for the month; but will reopen in April. Charlie will be 74 next month and they're planning a celebration sometime between the 9th & 13th.

Opening is pushed back, but the good news is Donna is coming back full time to bring this jewel back to it's pre-K greatness. I guess she has been going back and forth from Florida and NOLA.

holy cripes - I had no idea they shuttled back and forth between Florida and New Orleans for EIGHT years !
If that isn't about supporting an idea, musicians, a city etc.- nothing is !
