Besides vrbo, homeaway and rentalo? Not having much luck finding a place big enough to handle the bachelor party of 12 guys we might have coming down to the fest. Thanks for any help you can give.

I would highly recommend Gambit Weekly (http://bestofneworleans.com) - the local free paper that has real estate etc. Right now there are Mardi Gras rentals - but wait a week or so after that for 'fest rentals.

At the top of the page there is a tool bar - click on classifieds. When you do a sub tool bar appears below the original one on the page. Real Estate is on the right hand side.

You might also check corporate rentals in New Orleans for 'fest rentals too.

If you are not familiar with Gambit -you can pick up a copy when you come in for the fest at your hotel or a coffee shop....it also has the listings for clubs etc.

You might try some of the bed & breakfast sites - there are several in NO that will rent out the whole place for a group your size.

Have you tried Craigs List? (www.craigslist.com) They seem to have everything!

I forgot to mention New Orleans Online (http://www.neworleansonline.com). This is the city's official tourism website - but it is run by the tourism marketing corp - not city hall itself...At any rate, my boss' daughter decided to get married in New Orleans a few years ago at the last minute and they needed a bunch of rooms or accomodations similar to conodos and homes for the gang. I called this site and they were excellent. The guy I talked to came up with a range of options and prices and he was really, really helpful.
