My list of things I should get done is getting longer since I found you all. :D Work from home most of the time...but really this is getting out of hand. The work is stacking up, the house work neglected, the errands aren't getting done either and hubby just doesn't "get it".

He will understand when we arrive and you all helped make our first fest a great one. Learning about the bands I don't know, where to eat, how to prepare the body and soul, meeting some great folks..even learning about shoe choices!!!

Thanks to all here. Only how many days of this? Bet the addiction gets worse too!!

Welcome to the club. As we get closer to Jazzfest, it will become practically impossible to keep up with all the threads and posts. So quit your job, get a divorce and give in to your addiction. :)

Looks like we are all in the same boat. I can't wait to check the threads first thing when I get into work and then get frustrated because there is so much to catch up on from the night before and I guess I really have to get some work done so I can afford to feed my fest habit.

Oh - I've gone over the edge. I now cut and paste and have a Jazzfest "Notebook" . Neurotic about my FOMS ( Music, food, and most of all meeting new friends in person )
It's bad, reaaaaaaaallllllly bad:o

I do the same

Print everything off and into a folder it goes. Now to just figure out how to make 24 hours turn into days!!! I am going to be so damn tired when I get home I will need to scratch a few days off the calander for work but then again....if I could do that I would stay a few more days in lovely NOLa

Well, yeah, on the notebook. How you gonna keep up if you don't do it. I just paste in a word doc each year and then print it all out before I go go.

Well for me I just dont sleep as much these day *getting ready...conditioning..whatever you want to call it. I am updating my homemade speadsheet so to speak. Even then I know I will miss lots. But then again I wont miss what I physically cannot do.

I just want to have fun, have a music overdose, not sleep, drink too much, smoke toooo...many cigars and MEET SOME OF YOU!!! Regrets I'm sure will come but there is always next year with more daze!!

Belle, last year I couldn't sleep like a week or two before fest at all. I had the worst insomnia cuz I was so hyped up and wired about JF. I mean wide awake at night. No hope in sight whatsoever, lol.

P-boy, everything in life is a tradeoff . . . The Bored or work/personal life/all that crap. ;)

P.S. - Yes, you are doomed, the drug has already taken deep hold of you. Just relax and go with it, and you'll have a great trip! :D
