Tough day in NOLA Sports . . .

Hornets trade Tyson Chandler to Oklahoma City.

Sigh.

Yeah Kitty, it's trade and release day in New Orleans sports....:(
I wish the Hornets would have gotten a legitimate center instead of a couple of 6-10 forwards who will try to match up to 7 footers...
If Chandler wasn't injured this year, it would never had happened...

It was a salary dump. Pretty sad after they went so far last year. Now they may not even make the playoffs. What a shame.

Joe Smith. They got Joe Smith. Is this guy still around?

He sure is. Those of us in San Francisco (long suffering Warriors fans) remember him as quite possibly the worst use of a #1 overall draft pick. Go Warriors.

Except we have also seen Michael Olowokandi and Kwame Brown since then. And let's not forget Larue Martin.

And now for something completely different:

Tyson Chandler failed his physical! The trade has been rescinded and Chandler is a Hornet again.

But the Hornets did beat Orlando tonight quite impressively. YYR, Wynn that Chris Paul is amazing to watch!
