I know it says that day-by-day schedules are coming soon but....

Does anyone have any insider info? Historically how early do those come out? I'm trying to book flights and such. I'm mainly concerned about Counting Crows and Better Than Ezra.

thanks!

awesome, i know the crows site said they were playing the WEEKEND of the 4th, but i wasn't sure if they actually said the 4th. I'll def be down there thursday night for sure, now.

Do you know what time the doors open? is it like 9 or 10 am?

The GATES open at 11AM. It's outside and the only doors are on the blue rooms.

Gates open at 11am. The BNA's (big national acts) are usually scheduled in the last couple of slots of the day. The fest finishes around 7pm.

You are going to have a lifechanging experience. Just take a little time to visit some of the other stages-11 in all. And don't eat before you come. The food is amazing. You can see the cubes aka daily schedules and times in April sometime and the food and craft list will be out before then probably.

That was nothing compared to his Sunday night gig at the RnB backed by Joe Krown playing to a room of, maybe, 50 people. I have never been so moved by a performance... EVER.

Last year was the first time they released full-weekend lists w/o the daily breakdown, so not much historical data. Last year, the weekend lists came 2/15 and the daily 3/08. The cubes (stages and times) came 4/06.

It's safe to assume the Crows will play at the end of the day (say, 5:30ish till 7 or 7:10), so plan accordingly. BTE is harder to guess, but they may play mid-afternoon, or may play the same slot as the crows.

Very nice pic, CBH. I always found Gatemouth notoriously hard to photograph. He always wore that big hat that kept light off his face.

thanks for the info. I was down there a couple months ago in december and stayed in Kenner, and i've already stopped eating to save room.

I saw another thread about the IMAX film "on the bayou", if you aren't in the area, and it comes around to your local IMAX, i suggest you go see it. I saw it at the aquarium and it was pretty good.

I wouldn't know what to do  I've seen each of them 3 or 4 times, in rooms as small as this cubicle i'm sitting in right now.

HAH! My style exactly. I got the biggest memory card I could for my camera, put it on highest quality, and then just click away, and download it onto my laptop each night.

I'd say about 1 out of 20 is a really good one.
