You guys are too sweet!

I would like to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone involved with this weekend, especially Nathan. I was thrilled so many wanted to make the trek. I was truly honored! I do wish everyone could have been here. We could have squeezed in a few more people right? :)

From the pre-party Friday night to the party Saturday night, to the after events and all the clean up help on Sunday...it was just an all around fantastic weekend. Just an absolute blast! You guys are the BEST!
Special thanks goes out the Paul, John, Shamarr, Susan, Russ and Todd for wanting to spend an entire weekend in Orlando hanging out with us.

oh and a big thanks goes out to Stynger for recording the whole night. Can't wait to hear/see it all again. Please tell me you got the moment in 'Why' when John threw the mic aside and got out and sang out front of the band with nothing but his incredible voice.

It's still surreal, I'm not sure all that happened right here. Please post pics b/c I didn't take one, not one all weekend. What the heck was I thinking. ;)

I feel so very fortunate to have been there for this incredible weekend. It was so wonderful to see so many Threadhead friends in such a relaxed, intimate setting. The friendship, teamwork and hospitality displayed by everyone was inspiring. The food was outstanding and don't even get me started on the music. Oh my lord---it was goosebumps and tears of joy!

Nate and Nanci thank you for opening your home and your hearts to all of us.

Looking forward to seeing more pictures and to hearing the music again.

Love you guys, Vicki

Food was outstanding and the company was the best! Music was heavenly too: Stew Called New Orleans is off the upcoming Boutte/Sanchez cd and it is awesome! And Crescent City Snow is such a beautiful song, has quickly become one of my & Mrs. O's favorites! Another inspiring moment was when John threw down his mic in the middle of Why, and sang un-amplified. A wondermous thing.

whew! I'm finally starting to recover! Nance and Nate, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for the most amazing weekend! The parties were fantastic and the food all y'all made was out of this world. So much love and work went into that party and I'm so honoured to have been a part of it. My only regret was not staying until Monday. It was so sad to leave and didn't even get to pop by to say good-bye :(
Thank you again for EVERYTHING! xoxoxo

p.s and the music kicked some serious ASS!!! :D

John's "Why" was the highlight followed closely by Susan's new song about leaving New Orleans which was so emotional that she hid behind the guitar for a moment and took some heavy sighs after.

YYR! Big, big fun every minute. Fab food. Fab friends. Fab music. Just don't get any better. Neen, you did hear Flower Girl aka The Rain, the Park and Other Things. That was a flower girl moment from heaven. All of us girls around 50 were thrilled to hear a fave cowsill song from back in the day.
And seefood shared that on their flight back sunday morning, someone recognized Susan and paid them to sing 4 songs on the plane!!
Many thanks to Nate and Nince for a perfect weekend.
Now if I can just build up some flight karma.
Oh, and Herb was there too, playing percussion.

I got spanked more than once (but I like that) for getting in people's way, but I managed to snap a few pics too. I'll send the full size files to the folks in them 'cause these web apps downsize the files and lower the rez.

Here's to many, many more happy birthdays to both Nate and Nance. What an incredible gathering that was.

Great weekend and so glad to be a part of it. Even my barely sub-120 score at golf with Nate and his dad and buddy were soon forgotten that night with everyone trickling in and re-uniting and dinkin, eatin and huggin n kissin! What a great group we have and what a sweetheart that birfday gurl is! The music was off the hook and YES, it continued on the plane ride home. I was walkin to the back lavatory and saw Susan and some guys in front of her talkin turkey. I looked at her and she smiled.."I think we got a gig..if I can just rally the troops". By the time I came out, Paul was on guitar, Sue n John were singin and Russ was on washboard and half the plane was mesmerized..takin pics and singin along, especially on 'flower girl'.

I don't think the embed tag will work here. But if you can embed it onto a temporary page, grab that screenshot and save that pic, then proceed as a bove, you might be able to simulate it.

That makes sense.

I've gave up and posted an clickable image in a new thread.
