We need to purchase 4 single day tickets for the first weekend, and two weekend packages for the second weekend (since we won't be there for 1st Friday). But there are only options for either single days or weekend packages. Can we do this purchase on one order, instead of paying two separate charges? Festy Dave?
Do we have to purchase tickets from the link on the Jazzfest site, or can we get them from your Ticketmaster site, Swag?
We are really regretting missing first Friday, now that the schedule is developing. But our airfare is already booked for late on Friday, and it doens't seem that there is any way to change it without paying $150 per person plus any difference in airfare since we booked. (Unlesss anyone has any suggestions for a loophole!)

TM did finally get the shopping cart up, but as you see, you can combine tickets across weekends into a single order, but you can't mix day tickets with packages; nor VIP tickets with general admission.

You can get tickets from the fest site, from the link on my site, or just by typing in the TM web address and then searching. The tickets and the cost are the same. If you use my link, I get a small referral fee, thanks!

What airline? Best chance might be to monitor your flights for schedule changes; many airlines waive fees & fare differences if they change your flight times by more than an hour or so. Depending on the airline, you could also try to standby earlier in the day on Friday, though flights to NOLA that morning will likely be pretty full.

The airline is US Airways.
Thanks for all your help, Swag!

Hey Swag,
I just went through your site to order my tix, always glad to give you a little kickback.
Question though - I needed two tix for 2nd Thursday only, so ordered 2 "second weekend single tickets". However, it never asked me which day. Are they not labeling tickets for individual days this year?

The only tickets that are day specific are the ones in the weekend pass. If you buy single tickets (which we also bought on Friday), they are good for any day that weekend, as usual.

I absolutely love it, it's my favorite picture of him. Where do you get the posters?

I found an 11x17 one on Amazon for $15 new that I will order. They have several different sizes available, and also sell the collection of four (Hope, Change, Progress, Obama) for $40.
I just googled "Obama Poster" and a bunch of sites came up.

That's correct. In the past, the only tickets that were day-specific were the discounted Thursday-only tickets (plus some of the community giveaway and volunteer tix - not sold to the public).

YYR - but for some reason I thought I'd heard they were labeling individual days this year. Now I get it though - that is just for the three-day packages.
