Send me your email again, I must have a real old one of yours. Also snail mail. I've got a poster or two to throw in the pot this year. Found my SNAFU one from the Dream Palace for the last show EVER done there. It's the Rads 12/30/99 SNAFU Party

For any/all of us newbies, can you explain the raffle, tell us how it works and what kind of stuff you're looking for?
I have a few old rock and roll posters from my day as a record store manager that I might be persuaded to donate to the Threadhead cause.....

Welcome CE.. if you go to http://threadheads.org/ and click on "charity raffle" you can have a look at last years raffle, how it was conducted, and the items that were raffled are still there I think. I don't think there's too much they wouldn't take.. you have to put a value on what you're donating.. which determines how much one might pay for a ticket. $1, $5, $10

Most of the proceeds have gone to NOMC in the past and Fest4Kidz. I think there will be upcomming official announcements soon though.. Stay tuned!

That's a great suggestion for info Jolie and reminds me that in the raffle post that I VOW to get up tomorrow, I need to do more than just list donations, but also explain what we're doing. Tomorrow morning, it is priority number one!

i was at my sista's place last night, staring at Blue Dog...and i told her...this year, i put my raffle tickets in for ME! she reminded me that if i win anything with Blue Dog, she will take it from me....oh...the injustice.....(she turned me on to Blue Dog before i ever went to New Orleans).

will the items be juried, or will all reasonable donations be accepted?

(yes, i'm being sarcastic about the JF fine arts policy)

Hahahaha!

I can't tell you, it's all secret.

Seriously though, our donors are awesome and come up with wonderful prizes, I can't think of a donation we've ever turned down :)
