Holy crap, that's fantastic! What is it...a pot? Looking at the size of the buttons, it's probably too big to be a cup or mug....

It is 12 inches tall and 10 inches wide at the mouth. Don't know what I will use it for yet - maybe a planter - maybe something to keep my other NOLA lagniappes in - definitely not a trash can!

I have since seen some glass vases at Hobby Lobby that might could work too.. but seems kind of silly to cover a nice glass vase

He does have beautiful scraps. I was eyeballing them myself but didn't want to be rude and ask if I could have a few. Some of the shards would make gorgeous beaded pendants.

i dont want you to make me one, i want you to teach me how to make my own! can you do a little youtube video? :D
i have at least one shoebox full of jazzfest buttons and lots of other keepsakes. and once i figure out how to do it, i can make them for my friends, and do other themes, like Cardinal baseball.

ps - i think we're staying northshore for JF this year, with friends in Abita Springs (2nd weekend).

Yeah I know there's a shitload of stuff happening Wednesday in The City (everyday for that matter).... but we would love to have anyone up here who may be looking to just get away for a day... (It's really pretty and relaxing here:) )
