I am wondering what sort of media coverage this sad event received in the States.I read in the paper this morning that Rush Limbaugh was a guest at the function, maybe that says it all.
If someone could inform me that would be great.
I am also interested to know if GWs propaganda unit let the people know that at the last Australian election Little Johny Howard was so on the nose with public that not only did his Party get soundly defeated, but he lost his own seat to a former journalist.I dont think that this had ever happened before. There had been demographic changes in his eloctrate, but he thought his imagined great standing would see him through.

Cheers

What did you expect from an idiot soon-to-be-former decider?

But he was responsible for saving 30,000 people from rooftops.

He's trying desperately to re-write history. If anyone else writes it, it won't be flattering.

We don't need to bash this man or point out his many, many deficiencies. History will be the final judge and I expect it will be much harsher than we can even imagine now.

There have been more dishonorable men in the White House; possibly even some less intelligent. But timing, as they say, is everything. And it was our country's great misfortune to have this man in office at the worst possible time.

His apologists are already crowing about how Bush saved our country from further terrorist attacks. Nothing could be farther from the truth. His actions in Iraq have all but guaranteed American interests abroad and at home can expect further attacks from another generation of Islamic terrorists.

January 20th, the end of an error pretty much says it all.
