I was told that because tickets will be issued with the brass passes, any entrance works. Sadly, this also means they have done away with the
"separate" line at Sauvage gate entrance. This comes from Fest, not WWOZ.

Huh? Why have a ticket with the brass pass? That doesn't make much sense.
s for the separate lines - LOL - every time I get in line the normal line is faster...lol.
But I will say - for a lot of people it is great - esp. those who park in the lot on gentilly and then couldn't get in using the gentilly gate etc.

That doesn't make much sense to me. How do the 'In and out" privelages work if you've already used the day's ticket?

I was told that the rain last year caused problems reading the bar codes- thus the decision to send brass passes with tickets. Perhaps they will address the issue of the in and out privelege with the info that should be forthcoming soon

Perhaps they just need to print the bar code sticker to be impervious to water...

But if they had trouble reading the bar codes on the brass passes, wouldn't they have the same problem reading the bar codes on the tickets?
Maybe when you enter, they'll take the ticket and give you a wristband for the day?

maybe a special color? I have my pass from last year. It still has the clear tape over the bar code on it. Still. I had mine in the rain also.
