1) is there an easy way to find the thread a post is actually under?
2) when i click the 'more posts under' thing it shows the post but takes me back to the top of the thread outline - i;m in hybrid.
3) the oitline drifts so far right - a better way to deal with it?
4) in general. tips for reading or relating posts?

yes, i asked a serious question and no, i'm not sober.

I can't help ya, Barb. I read in the other view. Open a thread and click View First Unread Post... or whatever it says. :-)

guess i'm spoiled by delphi. but there are some things i like better about the thread - i like to view the lieneage. but when you post it takes you back to the top and you have to browse until you find where you were, and with some of the intricate theread, you have to lokk way over on the right.

On my machine, I find when I click the "Go to first new post", it takes me to the thread in question, but while that thread loads, you're at the top. If the thread has a bunch of pics, it may be 10 seconds or so before it's loaded, and only then does it auto-scroll you to the first unread. So (and I know this is hard), be patient.

There is a little arrow next to teh thread title. If you click the arrow, it takes you to the first post since your last read of the post.
does that make sense?

It makes perfect sense to me since that's what I do!
