I just noticed the Juke box feature on the JF webpage. What a great way for newbies to get a glimps of things to come. Even as a veteran I am hearing some stuff that I was not familiar with. I hope they change up the songs every so often to keep people listening.
Papa Grows funk is rockin my world right now.
What do ya think of it?

Oooh, I like it!
Amy, when you come across this, CM and Warren Haynes are on there, too.
I'm listening to Tab Benoit now. Wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
Very nice. I like. Very enveloping. Ooooh, I like it a lot!

This is another streaming website that features the music of Jazz Fest performers. Although it still is referring to the 2006 Fest in the text, I notice some 2007 artists have been put in the playlist.

Warren was my favorite set, too. Followed closely by Robert Randolph. Those back-to-back sets at the Soco stage were like magic for me.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I agree also.Warren Haynes smoked last year. When he pulled out that Les Paul I was in heaven. And to think Warren is back again this year. It just does not get any better than this!

I asked what the hell is wrong with that? :D
The cd of Warren's set last year is definitely my best souvenir too!

Saturn, Thanks for the link to the other compilation of fest artists. I went to sleep with the jukebox playing the first night I found it and it just keeps repeating. It is already ingrained in my brain. I just started checking out the new one you sent.
STLBARB - Your right I am all pumped up for the Bears game. I just finished applying the face paint and started my gameday calastenics. ( Next year I my switch the order, I just look silly exercising with a blue and orange face)

I thought you would love that MzJoey since you mentioned that you needed some music to bring you back. It is great to hear all of those songs. Can't wait for JF!

..very clever of them to use live cuts, makes it a bit more energizing. Can't wait to be dancing and feeling the sun on my head at JF!!

First time I saw Warren w/ ABB I was blown away. The man is a rock and roll musician for sure. Caught two Mule sets year before last at Down on the Farm that were smokin, with help from DDBB and Ivan Neville.

See and I saw a show this summer where Warren Haynes had a family emergency and couldn't be there.....was totally bummed and he was hugely missed. Looking forward to seeing him with ABB at fest.....I'm hopin'!
