Perhaps they'll use fest as a launch point for their album? Seems like other BNA's like to do that sometimes. Here's hoping!!

Report: New Eagles album in the works

01/31/2007 8:18 PM, AP

After nearly 30 years, California's classic rock group the Eagles may soon release their first album of all-new music.
Founding member Don Henley (http://us.rd.yahoo.com/DailyNews/celeb/ap/ap_en_mu/people_eagles/21775528/*http://news.search.yahoo.com/search/news?fr=news-storylinks&p=%22Don%20Henley%22&c=&n=20&yn=c&c=news&cs=nw) said during a private weekend concert that the band was nearing completion on an album of all-new material, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported on Tuesday.
"It's coming out in 60 to 90 days, if we don't kill each other first," Henley, 59, told the crowd Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Eagles and Henley spokesman Larry Solters said Wednesday there was no comment.
"The Long Run" in 1979 was the Eagles last album featuring all-new studio material. That album included the Grammy-winning single "Heartache Tonight."
The group officially disbanded in 1982, then they reunited in 1994 for a comeback tour featuring Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh (http://us.rd.yahoo.com/DailyNews/celeb/ap/ap_en_mu/people_eagles/21775528/*http://news.search.yahoo.com/search/news?fr=news-storylinks&p=%22Joe%20Walsh%22&c=&n=20&yn=c&c=news&cs=nw), Timothy Schmit and Don Felder (http://us.rd.yahoo.com/DailyNews/celeb/ap/ap_en_mu/people_eagles/21775528/*http://news.search.yahoo.com/search/news?fr=news-storylinks&p=%22Don%20Felder%22&c=&n=20&yn=c&c=news&cs=nw).
The band appeared together again in 1998, with past members Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner, when they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I'd rather see Joe with James Gang. Had a secret wish they'd be in the line up...

Bryan,
I don't imagine there are too many of us out here awaiting a James Gang re-union, but I'm with you! One of the djs at a club I frequent has a habit of playing Funk 49 as a review song. Out all night, sleep all day ......

I'll cast my vote for the James Gang. There may be more of us than you think.
I think there's trouble brewing.......
