Ha ha, we saw Billy Joel last Saturday night in mucho hot, steamy and very stormy weather (in an indoor venue)... I was waiting for him to sing "raindrops" a la Fest!

As an aside, one of his roadies did a smoking version of an AC/DC song. Was just about the highlight of the night!

Not that I'm dropping snowflakes (in our case hot and humid drops of sweat) that AC/DC (or even Billy's roadie) will be at Fest '09!!!! Nod. Wink. Burp.

I live in the panhandle where people say, "there's just a barbed wire fence between us and Canada." Yes, there is snow on the ground now from yesterday's dusting, but it will be sixty degrees by the weekend.

It's SNOWING!!! I was giggling thinking of Jada who HATES the cold and just moved here from St. Louis and said if she never saw another snowflake again she'd be a happy girl. So of course I sent her a text to tease her a bit. When the phone rang and I saw it was her I was already laughing, and then to hear her sputtering the words out...."What the hell??? Is this some kind of freakin joke????" Too funny!!
