Actually, I think she's 27. Happy birthday Britney!
Anybody planning to go to her kickoff concert here in N.O.? I think I may take my girls. I'm trying to talk Amyloves into going with me.

After an amusing string of text messages, she only succeeded in getting to take my 15 year old with her! I'm not even sure if mine likes Britney any more but I have a feeling she'll really want to go so she'll get a ticket for Christmas.

Aww, be nice you lot! Her life took a path when she was a child that even the strongest of us couldn't get off even if we wanted to. I'm not a fan BUT reckon she would put on one hell of a show for the younguns. Enjoy!

i base my opinions on her "music". couldn't really care less what she does in her personal life as long as she's not hurting anyone else.

Well, we big rock singers, we got golden fingers, and were loved everywhere we go.
We sing about beauty and we sing about truth at ten thousand dollars a show.
We take all kind of pills to give us all kind of thrills but the thrill weve never known
Is the thrill thatll getcha when you get your picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone.

I have never bought any of her music, but I hope her life gets better. She worries me.

Yeah, she was on a downward spiral for sure! A wake-up call for her family too, about the effects of fame...too much, too fast, too young. Then her young sister has a baby. It's great that her family stepped in aggressively & took care of business.
I like her music. I don't take it too seriously.
It's just super-fun to dance to. It's club music.

I love Shel Silverstein! :)
Maybe we should arrange a meeting between Kid Rock and B.S.?
Why not? they're both unattached, aren't they?
They could do a cover of "Jackson", a la June & Johnny!:D
