Just wanted to update you on the latest J & M shirt news. We are selling sweatshirts for a limited time. They are only available in black, with the print the same as both sides of the black t-shirt. At this time, they are only available in small, medium, large, and XL. We may be putting in one more order before the holidays, so if you need a larger size and want a special order, let us know. Only $20, and because of the matching gift program, a $20 donation goes to the New Orleans Musician's Clinic.
If you are new to the bored or don't go on much (Hi Seefood!) and don't know what this is about: J & M was a historic studio in New Orleans in the 40's & 50's, where an amazing variety of blues, jazz, and early rock and roll was recorded. For more information, visit our website.

The holidays are coming and both the t-shirts and sweatshirts make great, affordable gifts for the music lover on your list! (and New Orleans gets a gift, too)

Okay, we're going to get long sleeved tees for Funkkjunkie, Beadhead, and Stynger. (But Funkk and Stynger, we still need the sizes you want)
If anyone else wants a long-sleeved tee in black, let us know. These will be special orders; we won't have them in stock, so you have to let us know the size you need. They will also be $20, same as the sweatshirts. We are not sure if they will be available by the holidays. (It depends how soon we need to reorder shirts--hint hint, wink wink.)

Hmmm. I'd really love a XL long-sleeved tee in white, with the same color scheme as your short-sleeved white tee. I understand if it's not do-able; I just have too many tees, and too many black ones--both short and long-sleeved. But I only have one other long-sleeved white tee, so I could justify this purchase to Mrs. Lit (who has me on a one-in-one-out plan for tees otherwise) on the basis of "need." But no worries if it's too much of a hassle. Thanks. Great shirts and great work you're doing.

That's a fun idea, but not likely right now. It would probably mean paying for new screens to fit a button-up shirt, which would not be worth it unless lots of people wanted one. But thanks for the suggestion, and we'll keep it in mind.

We should be able to get you a white long-sleeved one, but it might take a while. We have to order 24 of a color, and we sell twice as many black shirts. We won't be putting in a white shirt order soon, unless we sell a bunch over the holidays. Why don't you send us an e-mail from the website so we'll have your address and we can let you know when we're getting ready to put the order in.

Hope all is well. Doubt I'll be at CFF, it's too close to Fest and one other annual trip we always do. Work has become too busy to miss that much time so close together. Hell, we are only doing Monday thru Monday fopr fest this coming year. Maybe after I retire (hah!). May make it down for Magfest though, ya never know...
We would have been down in Tampa this January, but we got shut otu on the BluesCruise. Maybe next year. Email me anytime, link is below.

I'm looking at flying in on NYE at about 7. Then heading down to Gulfport, home to JuJuVoo and some other Kats and Threadheads. Not sure what the NYE plans are, but I will watch the LSU/GT bowl game first. On Jan. 1 there's some local events going on. The 2nd is Galactic at JAnus Landing, and the third is Mofro at Skippers, or Bonearama on the other side of town. Pollstar has most of the dates listed
What do you have in mind???

My plans haven't firmed up yet either. The NYE flights jumped overnight, and the rental cars are nuts. So I may hold off until the 2-3rd myself. If I'm there I'll definitely be doing MoFro, as I've never seen them. I'll post later once I'm a little surer of what's up.

Just wanted to let y'all know that there is still time to order shirts for delivery before Xmas. We will send them out the day after you order them, and ship them priority mail.
All sizes of both black and white t-shirts are currently in stock. We sold out of medium and XL sweatshirts, but we still have small and large in stock.
We're also still taking orders for long-sleeved black t-shirts, but they will not be available in time for Christmas.

Just wanted to update: Long sleeved tees arrived a couple of weeks ago, and we have now gotten them to everyone who placed a pre-order. However, we did get a few extra, so if you didn't get in on this in time for the preorder, you've got one more chance.
Limited quantities in stock now: black sweatshirts in men's size large
black long sleeved t-shirts in men's size xl and 2xl
all the long sleeved items are $20 (even 2xl!)
Plus we've got all sizes available in the t-shirts, in black or white, men's or women's sizes.

P.S. Saw a friend of ours at a Superbowl party yesterday, and he said that his friend Little Steven Van Zandt loved his J & M tee that he got him for Christmas!
