Damn... I had just bookmarked the club's website as a place to take my visiting 1st-Fest'rs and beer-snobs as a food'n'drink alternative to Crescent City Brewhouse, my stand-by. Moral of the story - if there's a place you've been aching to go try, don't wait - go try it!

They've had bad luck the last couple of weeks. Their bartender was murdered recently, too.

We have a Bulldog here, and it's nothing really special. Another Lager's/Hops kind of place.

Wow this is all too strange. I ran into a friend Sunday at Po Boy Fest who just started bartending there. Was gonna make a trip to see her soon.
