...awesome line-up, but not totally sure about this...Big Sam's site has him on jam cruise the same night.

jam cruise pulls back into fort lauderdale early on the 9th, so maybe Sam's flying right up to NYC?

Looks like Jam Cruise docks in Fort Lauderdale the morning of the 9th. I guess it's possible that he could get on a plane and play NYC that night.

Talked with both the owner of Sullivan Hall and Big Sam's manager Friday night about that show because there was a poster outside about it. Neither said Big Sam wouldn't be there, so I would assume he will be.

I was told there is some concert promotion convention in town that weekend I believe and thats why all these guys are going to be around. I was also told they will all have shorter sets, but there is going to be a jam session after Big Sam so I would expect most to stick around. There is something really cool going on that ngiht all around that area, but not sure if the info I was given was in confidence or for public consumption. But stay tuned for more shows being announced that weekend at Sullivan and surrounding venues.
