Hey Everybody---------Does anybody know anything about whether Susan Tedeschi might be playing anywhere, at any time? There's nothing posted on Pollstar for her for that time period and since Derek Trucks will be here with ABB, I can't believe she wouldn't play somehwere.

She got up and played with the Allmans the last time they did the fest..... so history is in your favor..

"There ain't nothing in Chicago
For a monkey woman to do."

Is that the genesis of your screen name?

Or it could be the Rolling Stones:

<Well I am just a monkey man
I'm glad you are a monkey woman, too."

Or the Pietasters:

<<Crazy monkey woman, why you always coming to me
I said sweet freaky lady, why you always got another to say>>

Or Tom Waits:

<<You'll see Priscilla Bajano
The monkey woman>>

Or Champion Jack Dupree:

<<Well I'm gonna leave here mama, I swear I can't take you
Well I'm leaving heeeee, swear I can't take you
'Cause there's nothing now baby, a monkey woman like you can do.>>

Or Freddie Wilson:

<<You can't be a monkey woman>>

Or . . . . lots of others over the years.

Big Dag and Zenwinemaster ------- the reference is to Mick's Monkey Woman. But I am quite amused, and impressed, by ya'lls litany of possibilities!

Yeah, I remember that one, but I was hoping to see her for a whole set with her own band. She's certainly a worthy addition......are ya reading this, Quint?

She will probably be at home with their child.

Festydave,

I hope you're wrong!

I've seen them step in (at times with baby in hand) on each other's sets and its been amazing!

The first time was a starry eyed Susan on stage with the DTB at Jazzfest. Amazing. No one I enjoy seeing more than Susan... her band is incredible as well.
